One Tin Soldier (The Legend of Billy Jack) from the 1971 movie “Billy Jack.” The song is copyrighted 1969, so it is in my 1960’s pile of music. I admit, I haven’t watched the movie, but the song brings me to tears. One Tin Soldier (The Legend of Billy Jack) is very appropriate for today. Peace on Earth; Love your neighbor. Work to replace systemic racism, elitism, misogyny, bigotry, hatred of all kinds. Treat all those you meet in the same way as you would treat those you love. May kindness, grace, and humility be your watchwords today.
